Chhath is always has been the most important and pious festival for the people from Bihar and some parts of other states. I was in my home village this time as always to celebrate it and captured some moments in my camera. This festival is four day long. The first day is called “Nahay Khay”, second day is called “Kharna”, third day is called “Sanjhiya Arak” and the final day is “Parna”. The “Sanjhiya Arak” and “Parna” is for worshiping the Sun God while sun set, and while the sun rise respectively. People also mention “Chhathi Mayia” while worshiping who was as I know was some devotee of the Sun God. People ask the “Chhathi Mayia” for fulfilling their wishes.
